Halloween Soriée & Crafting Event

If you LOVE Halloween and spooky crafts, you don’t want to miss this weekend where we immerse ourselves in all things spooky! 

You will go home with several spooky projects that you can be proud of, cackling with joy as you head out the door! 

Wear your favorite Halloween costume on Saturday or both days! Even if it’s just a witch hat! There will be a raffle for those who dress spooky (wink, wink)!  Witch hats or spooky fascinators encouraged!

We’ll start this fun weekend with a Friday night soiree meet & greet complete with make & takes, bites, spirts and an artsy “bootique” to shop!

All levels welcome!

• FRIDAY 20th, 5pm-7pm, meet & greet, spooky make & takes, snacks and artsy “bootique”.
• SATURDAY 21st, 10am-5pm, Spooky Junk Journal in a box
• SUNDAY 22nd, 10pm-4pm, Spooky Ornaments + Spooky resin elements demo 

 Fee includes most all supply kits, materials, instructions and ticket to the Friday nights soiree and bootique.

Saturday class SPOOKY JUNK JOURNAL in a box - Learn how to make a spooky junk journal grimoire, completely made from repurposed cardboard, junk mail and fabric snippets. 

• Techniques include;
• quick paper distressing with sprays
• waxed grungy vials
• faux wax seals
• quick foil doodles
• page tabs
• shrinky dink charms
• mini faux books & paper fodder to add to your journal. 

Learn how I make mini masterboard snippets to decorate the pages & then put the journal all together with an easy binding. 

We will also do a simple collage on a black cigar box ( or something similar) to house your finished junk journal. Some of the pages have decorative sewing on them so if you are local and want to sew some of your pages, please bring your machine. 

If time allows, we will also make a witchy paper doll to add to your journal! Most supplies included.

Sunday class SPOOKY ORNAMENTS - I will show you how to make spooky cute ornaments from mini cauldrons, TH paper dolls images, laces, confetti, glitter, beads, wire, ribbon and other fun findings! 

I’ll also show you how to color your images and do a demonstration on quick resin design elements. 

You will LOVE making these ornaments! There will be enough supplies in your kit to make 1 ornament & 1 resin cabochon/charm. 

I will have extra kits to purchase if you like.

Student supply list

Kits and supplies are included in the price of the class for all the projects, however you will need to bring the following:

• scissors for paper and for fabric
• glue stick and tacky glue or something similar
• hot glue gun and glue sticks
• 6-8 junk mail envelopes, some with windows
• a small (9-12”) cardboard box to repurpose . Bring the kind that has a wavy interior used for shipping. We will be using this for our junk journal and other ephemera.
• 2-3 empty toilet paper rolls
• 2 clean approximately 16oz tin cans 
• cutting mat and ruler
• exacto knife optional (I’ll have one to share)
• Halloween paper scraps (optional)
• sewing machine optional
