Gin-uary!

This one-of-a-kind experience is designed to take you on a journey into the art of cocktail making, where you'll learn the secrets of crafting delicious and impressive drinks from a mixologist. 

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned cocktail enthusiast, this class promises to ignite your creativity.

We will begin the class with a champagne toast and brief introduction. 

Together we will follow the steps to creating "three" delicious cocktails. 

While we are sipping and shaking, we will discuss history of the cocktail, bartender trade secrets, and how to make creative garnishes!

Cocktails for Gin-uary will be:

French 75.

French 75 is a cocktail made from gin, champagne, lemon juice, and sugar. It is also called a 75 Cocktail, or in French simply a Soixante Quinze. The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris—later Harry's New York Bar—by barman Harry MacElhone.

Classic Gin Fizz.

The fizz became widely popular in America between 1900 and the 1940s. Known as a hometown specialty of New Orleans, the gin fizz was so popular that bars would employ teams of bartenders that would take turns shaking the drinks.

Aviation.

The cocktail was invented in the early years of the 20th century and first showed up in a 1916 cocktail book called Recipes for Mixed Drinks by Hugh Enslinn of the Hotel Wallick in New York City. That was just in time for glass upon glass of Aviations to be knocked back throughout Prohibition and for years after.
