Dollhouse Fabric Book

Join Erin with Pink & Rosie to make this charming dollhouse fabric book.

You will create a delightful 6-page (12 pages front and back) dollhouse-shaped book from scratch. This project draws inspiration from the beloved paper dolls of our childhoods. This class offers a nostalgic journey back to the days of imaginative play and creativity.

The workshop:

10 am: Erin will guide you to build the book's binding and glue all the fabric on all the pages.

Lunch break: While the fabric is drying, we will break for a one-hour lunch. 

*Please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.

Water Street has a variety of food choices to choose from for delivery or dine in.

After lunch: On to the most fun part! 

Erin will give ideas and tips for laying the lace and all the paper goodies on all your pages. 

She will go over inking your paper dolls, adding glitter, and how you can design with the lace accents.

Kit includes:

• Everything will be pre-cut except the lace trimmings
• Over 30 pieces of vintage and non-vintage lace
• Over 50 pieces of paper dolls, tags, and word sayings (Will be pre-cut)
• Fabrics 
• Two cloth lace crochet doilies and two paper doilies
• Basswood to build the book 
• Two ring binder holder mechanism
• Masking tape to construct the binding of the book
• Stickles (Mercury Glass glitter color)
• Foam mounting tape 

The kit is worth over $80 in product!

Supplies you need for class:

• Glue for fabric and paper (I used "Bearly Art" brand craft glue for the sample project)
• Scissors for lace cutting
• Brown ink pad (I use Tim Holtz) optional
